All of the people saying khuzaits are wrong. Troop for troop they are lousy, and they are the easiest faction to beat up in the field as a player. The reason they snowball isn't because their troops are better, it's because the AI controlled factions/lords can't deal with the advantages they have as a faction.

2: Power situation of thier faction versus yours. When their faction is ****'d and you're is okay, they are easier to get. The power is the field parties + garrisons (not militia), the more fiefs and clans (parties) your faction has the more attractive you are! 3: Thier relation to thier ruler and thier relation to you. If you have just 1 fief and thier faction is big a strong, they may still want too much to join you. Hire mercenaries and try to expand your faction (creating fief-less lords by taking thier homes) will help you be more likely to get vassals" 2.
