Howto test PCV/Oil Separator. I have a 2014 Passat TSI 1.8T. I'm having to add 1 quart of oil every 1000 miles or even less. I use Castrol Edge 5w-40 Full Synthetic. There are no obvious signs of a leak and was told it could be the PCV/Oil Separator. I took it off the other day, but it's not like any PCV Valve I've ever messed with.

TDI 2015 Passat TDI SEL. Nov 28, 2018. #1. I’ve been having issues on my 15 Passat since about the 60k miles mark, it has almost 110,000 miles now. Historically, at about 8k into the 10k oil change interval, my low oil light comes on. I’ve had the turbo replaced under warranty at 80k miles, and I think they also replaced the oil level sensor.
