The only interactions with a workshop that you already own are to sell it, or to change it to a different type of workshop. The simple answer is, if you want to make money on a workshop, just buy a pottery workshop from a settlement with a clay resource. There are a few in the Battania lands and I always buy one in Danaustica. This is objectively true and easily observable in every single playthrough. Just try it. Nothing will make more money than a pottery workshop.
cassandra112 • 1 yr. ago. Can be lots of reasons. workshop income is much more complex then "surrounding village produce". people get that totally wrong. low base price, and high produce price is going to make you profits. the question is how to get that.

Fight all the battles, sell what loot you don't use, influence will grind into money. If there's no war, fight bandits and clear hideouts. Having a couple workshops helps, of course, but you shouldn't have too much trouble keeping your influence up and the pay rolling. As a mercenary you should be rolling in Denars.
- Auto-switch on death might cause a stackoverflow and a CTD, so prefer not to use it for the moment. Save often and take care.
